The things I do miss are Spotify Wrapped, which is cool, but once a year and I can absolutely deal without that and the "Discover Weekly" Playlist. Also, if you are an apple user obviously the integration with all your devices is seamless. Away from that though I much prefer Apple Music for the way it is organised and I absolutely love the Apple Radio stuff, some of the shows like After School Radio and the I Miss. The main reason to start with was to be able to download music to my watch when I exercise and then didn't need to take my phone out. I used Spotify for years and I moved over to Apple Music a couple of years ago now and do not regret it one bit. (I will dearly miss Wrapped next December, sigh.) More controls on Watch and CarPlay, and works more easily with SiriĪt the end of the day, I will stick with Apple Music because uploading my own tracks and having music available on my Apple Watch outweigh a better desktop experience. ![]() Swipe-to-queue (seriously, Apple, ADD THIS)īetter recommendations and music discoveryĬMD+F on desktop works to find music in playlists There are also the UI bugs we see on the sub that just don't occur on Spotify. ![]() Music won't add to the queue sometimes, and plugging in to CarPlay often resets whatever was playing to all songs on non-shuffle, even if the last app I opened was Music. One surprise is Apple Music is buggier than Spotify on my iPhone 12 Pro. ![]() I used Spotify exclusively for about 15 months, then switched to Apple Music a few months ago.
